U.S.S. Chabot 2 by Daihak U.S.S. Chabot 2 by Daihak
Another view of the Chabot Refit. When my friend GAFY and I were talking about new textures, I only asked for a few things, I think color scheme mainly. The rest, I told him, was at his discretion. I never found a reason to complain about the end results, and you can see why.

Neat. I like it. I don't think I've ever seen another design using the "visible warp coil" idea. [link]

GotAFarmYet? made the textures, and he struggled to come up with a unique design for the warp engines, and came up with this design. It's always been a fav of mine.

Thanks for the favs. :-D As for the stats, here's a link where I uploaded the ship years ago. It comes with the background story.

However, she has both photon and quantum torpedo launchers. Her quantum torpedo launchers are mounted 2 forward in the neck, and 2 aft in the weapons pod which is also where the pylons connect. Photon torpedoes are located in the engineering hull, 2 forward above the deflector, and 2 aft at the very bottom of the hull.

Type 10 advanced phaser arrays throughout most of the ship with the exception of the ventral most array on the bottom of the engineering hull. That's a new type 12, same ones found on a Sovereign Class. Dorsal saucer has 7 phaser arrays, 2 of them to cover the aft of the saucer, and the other 5 positioned in the more traditional location on the saucer. Same with the ventral. Each pylon has a phaser array, and there's an aft lateral phaser array at the end of the engineering section.

Looks good, it should be an easy matter to copy and paste all the info together in one submission here. I'm sure there would be a lot of people in the various Star Trek groups that would be interested in knowing all of that.

Maybe. I've kitbashed several other ships as well over the years, each with nice background stories.

You should post them here as well, if nothing else you'll have them in multiple locations in case something happens to one copy.

I have the ships stored on my hard drive, and backed up on disc, and in a couple other locations on the net as well.

Yeah but more locations is more better.

After a while though it gets hard to figure out where you have your stuff.
