U.S.S. Chabot 5 by Daihak U.S.S. Chabot 5 by Daihak
Not sure if anyone has noticed rough edges in the model. This was meant for in game use, so the polygon count isn't that high, and also, again, this was a kitbash, so I was limited to what parts I had available at the time to create this refit.

Still love the way this ship turned out, and I'm currently working on a pre-refit version and may redo the refit itself to have a more distinctive look from the pre-refit, other than textures.

Thanks. It's an older kitbash model, but she still shines through.

No. I only made 5 renders tonight of the ship. I've made renders before in the past years ago, especially when I was promoting its release for Starfleet Command 3, and posted a few in game shots. But I made these renders tonight, and I only made 5.

Oh, is that what you mean. My rendering skills are still pretty simple. I can't do space and sun and star effects. Never learned how and most tutorials I find are either way too confusing or don't help at all.

Yeah, 3DS Max version 9. I don't have very good luck with backgrounds, mainly because I can't get the lighting right. I tried years ago, and got nothing but negative comments, so I just stuck with simple renders.
